Excellent 12" woofer

This is a classic 12" of very high quality, delivering high power (for domestic, not discotheque or rock concerts) and very solid cast metal basket. The driver is very sturdy, and the sound is very clean in the bass. I used it in a sealed floorstander with MR16 and TW29BN. It lends itself to very good active equalisation. I am docking one star from this only because it needs a pretty large sealed box. I regret not using the SB34NRX75-8 instead -- that driver, though significantly more expensive, can deliver similar punch with an enclosure half this size. Other than the box size, there is zero issue with the driver. Distortion is very low, other than the 2nd harmonic distortion which is always there with large paper cone woofers.
