Outstanding and one-of-a-kind

This is a very peculiar driver. It is large enough to deliver room-filling bass, it's almost 10". It has an Fs of 24Hz, which lets it go really low in a small enclosure. It can be used in a sealed 20-litre enclosure almost without any equalisation and will still deliver bass deep enough for double-bass or rock. And it does all this together with a flat SPL curve which goes into the KHz range, with a moving mass much lighter than the SB29NRX classical high-end woofer. This one has a moving mass of 44g while that has 78g. So, this can handle higher frequencies than almost any other 10" woofer. I'm using this in a 3-way sealed box with an MR13 mid and a TW29R tweeter, for an all-Satori high-end monitor speaker. It may be larger than desktop speakers but will be average size for general monitors. I'll drive this with a Hypex FA123 with active equalisation and crossover.

This is the only 10" driver I can think of which can mate with the Satori 2" dome midrange, because the dome needs to be crossover at 1KHz or higher, 4th order.
